Traveller Rights and Applicable Regulations
Package holidays marketed by our agency are subject to the applicable regulations on the protection of consumers and users, and in particular to Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 of 16 November, approving the consolidated text of the General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws.
This legislation establishes, among others, the following rights for travellers:
Pre-contractual information, including the main characteristics of the services, the price and the conditions of the trip.
Information and contractual documentation provided on a durable medium.
Rights in the event of changes to the trip or its conditions before departure.
The right to cancel the trip before it begins, under the conditions established by law.
Rights in the event of non-compliance or lack of conformity during the trip, including, where applicable, the remedy of the situation, a price reduction or compensation.
The right to assistance when the traveller encounters difficulties during the trip.
Protection against insolvency, under the terms established by the applicable legislation.
Submitting Complaints
In the event of an incident or lack of conformity during a package holiday, the traveller may notify our agency so that the matter can be handled in accordance with the applicable regulations.
Article 161 of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 establishes that travellers may submit their complaints either to the organiser or to the retailer. The retailer must receive and handle the complaint, either directly or by forwarding it to the person or entity responsible, and must inform the traveller of its progress.
